Zac Newham, an artist who specialises in celebrating the beauty of the natural world by working with wood in unconventional ways, will be running “Wood Mosaic” sessions at Cloud Nine. Using wood slices from a wide range of our local tree species, mosaicers of all ages will be invited to create one-off works of art to take home with them to display or use (e.g. as coasters/trivets). Whether it’s the bright orange hues of Yew or the deep brown, gnarled and twisted shapes of Hawthorn, the paper white Holly or perfect two-toned poker-chip pieces of Laburnum, the slices he uses are totally unique works of art in their own right and will create symphonies of natural beauty when puzzled together!

A fun time out for the whole family to enjoy! Pony Dayz horse-riding is provided off-site, just a 15-minute drive away at Woodcutts Farm (BH21 4JJ).
Offering Family hacks, Adult hacks, Pony club sessions, Pony party’s and Pony dayz! Including 15-minute walk outs for children aged 2+, 30-minute walk outs for ages 6+ and hour-long hacks for adults and children aged 7+, as well as birthday parties for children aged 2+.
Their pony club sessions are 2 or 3 hours and includes a lesson or hack, and stable management which will include all pony caring activities (mucking out, grooming, tacking up, education). It’s like owning your own pony without any of the fuss!
Toddler sessions run on Thursday mornings, where parents can come for a cup of tea or coffee while children can brush the miniature ponies and have a little walk round on a pony.

Open for all Cloud Nine guests, The Little Library will have a range of books available for kids of all ages. Pick up your favourite read or choose a new adventure and take it with you anywhere, from The Enchanted Forest to Village Green (or even snuggle up as your bed time story in your lovely accommodation). Just pop it back when you’re finished or exchange it for something new.

You’re in a for a good time with team Super Pirates. With full on energy and fun the team will ensure your kids have the best time (and burn lots of energy in the process). The team come in all shapes and sizes and host a wild array of games and content for the kids to get stuck in.  Including but not limited to sock wrestling, crafts, messy play, water slides and wild shows.  All you have to do is roll up and play, there’s no time limit to the fun. Late afternoon is wind down time in The Wild Tribe Workshop space. Our hosts will be welcoming you all with a peaceful gardening experience. Each child will get the chance to decorate a plant pot and fairy door. Everyone will be encouraged to get their hands muddy by planting their very own seed at our potting station!
