If you want to explore the campsite you’ll find lots to keep you and the family busy both day and night, perfect for when you have a gap in your schedule or fancy some chilled time.

Swimming in the lake

We have a small cornered off section of the lake where you can take a dip, cool off in the heat or embrace in the rain, dependent on your bravery. The lake has a lifeguard on duty during the day and there are some pool noodles to play around with. The lake is beautiful but it is a natural lake so be mindful nature includes plants and wildlife and it’s not heated. But if you embrace all of this it’s a wonderful moment to enjoy nature with your family (or watch and take the photos).

PLAYGROUNDS AND TRAMPOLINES

Dotted around the campsite you’ll find play areas and trampolines for the kids to explore at their leisure. Don’t worry we’ve made sure that these are well located within close vicinity to a bar with seated areas so you can sit back and relax whilst the kids have fun.

Wild Runs and nature trails

The grounds of St Giles are well worth exploring by foot at any pace. You can take a run at your leisure or join in on our weekly family fun runs which are easily manageable for all ages and may include a little participation prize. If you want a moment to yourself then we’ll tell you the best routes to immerse yourself and get lost in nature as well as some short distances to cover with all the family. Yours to explore at your leisure

Cycling

The campsite is ideal for exploring on 2 wheels so we welcome you to bring your own or hire from our reception area. Kids bikes and child seats and trailers are also available so you can take the whole family.

Dog Park

All four legged friends are of course welcome at Cloud Nine and we’ve created a space for when they can be taken off the leash and enjoy some freedom. They’ll also be some space for you sit down and relax.

Wishing tree

Hidden in the Enchanted Forset you’ll find our Wishing Tree. Here you can write down a special wish you want to come true and tie it up to the tree. A lovely little moment for the family to share a bit of magic.
