Nestled in Narford Hall’s stunning grounds, you’ll find the Swiftsure Lakeside restaurant. Swiftshure Lakeside Restaurant is named after ’Swiftshure’ wood on the estate. Andrew Fountaine who was an officer in the Navy before he came back run Narford Estate, took inspiration from his time in the Navy by naming a large majority of the woods he planted on the estate after a World War II ships.
The Swiftsure Lakeside restaurant which is run by the esteemed Red Lodge County House team, provides delicious menus to satisfy all rumbling tummies from breakfast through to dinner time. Round up the kids, or gather a bunch of families together to dine alfresco on our banqueting tables. High chairs will be available for wee ones.
You’ll get to taste locally sourced produce across all the menus, including working your way through Norfolk produced gins, whisky’s, beers and cider.
The restaurant is nestled along side the Lakeside, where you and your tribe can spend hours counting the swans swimming by. It’s also tucked away from our accommodation so if you have an early bedtime, the kids won’t be disturbed by those dining later in the evening.
